Ideally, a KUJA RAAHU SANDHI SHAANTHI POOJA involves a meticulous procedure of Japa, Ksheera Tharpana, Homa, Daana  & Braahmana Bhojana alongwith Ganapathi Pooja,Swasthi Punyaaha Vaachana, Panchagavya Melana, Prokshana & Praashana, Deva Naandi Pooja, Rithvik Varanam, Kalasha Sthaapana,Shodasha Upachara pooja, Shanthi Homam,Poornahuthi & Aasheervachanam.

One tenth of the japa sankhya ie 700 will be the Ksheera Tharpana , one tenth of tharpana sankhya ie 70 should be the Aahuthi or Homa, one tenth of Aahuthi/  Swaahaakaaram ie 7 shuold be Brahmana bhojana.

Similarly for Raahu-, number of dasha year will be 18.Hence, 18000 Japa, 1800 Ksheera Tharpana,180 Aahuthi & 18 Braahmana Bhojana  should be performed.
