ತುಳಸೀವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯ

ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಸಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಮ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಾನವಿದೆ

ನಾವು ಪೂಜಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇವ-ದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೂ ತುಳಸಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಸಂಗೀತದ ಪಿತಾಮಹರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪುರಂದರದಾಸರು ತಮ್ಮ ಒಂದು ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ: “ತುಳಸಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಪೂಜೆ ಒಲ್ಲನೋ ಹರಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳನೋ.” ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದರೆ, ತುಳಸಿಯ ಎಲೆ, ದಳ, ತೆನೆ, ಕಾಷ್ಠ ಮತ್ತು ತುಳಸಿ ಗಿಡದ ಬುಡದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಣ್ಣೂ ಕೂಡ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದದ್ದೆಂದು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಸೀ ಅರ್ಚನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ಥಾನ. ಮನೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ತುಳಸಿ ಗಿಡವೊಂದನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೆ ಭೂತ, ಪ್ರೇತ, ಪಿಶಾಚಾದಿಗಳ ಭಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತುಳಸಿ ಗಿಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಔಷಧ

Pradosha Puja On Trayodashi Thithi

Vaikuntha Ekadashi of Margashiramaasa Shuklapaksham occurring on December 25, 2020 is a very important celebration for the devout Hindus of India.
