Why should you perform Swarnakarshana Bhairava Homam?
In Vedic astrology, second house is called Dhana Sthana and eleventh house is considered Labha Sthana. Presence of auspicious Grahas or planets in these houses, second and eleventh house Lords being exalted, can make you ultra-rich and blessed with constant money flow.
On the contrary, if Dhana Sthana and Labha Sthana is occupied by malefic planets like Rahu, Ketu, Shani and Mangal, if second and eleventh house Lords are debilitated, afflicted, in retrograde motion or conjunct with malefic planets, life becomes an endless journey of missed fortunes, lost opportunities and a constant slip between the cup and lip.
The perfect solution to this problem is, offering obeisance to majestic form of God SWARNAKARSHANA BHAIRAVA, who is a provider of abundant money and wealth in quick time.
Worshipping SWARNAAKARSHANA BHAIRAVA is a time tested age old practice mentioned in various Puranic and tantric texts.
At Kumbakonam, in the heavenly Sannidhanam of God Bhairava, Swarnakarshana Bhairava Homam is performed on Ashtami of Krishna Paksha, every month.
Highly qualified Vedic priests strictly adhere to the Pooja rituals and perform the homam meticulously as mentioned in the ancient scriptures.

Who is Swarnakarshana Bhairava?
The name “Swarnakarshana” means “gold-attracting,” signifying his ability to bestow wealth, prosperity, and abundance upon his devotees. Unlike the terrifying aspects of Kala Bhairava, Swarnakarshana Bhairava is depicted in a more benevolent form, often golden in complexion, seated on a lotus or a throne, radiating divine energy, holding a golden pot filled with divine treasures, symbolizing material and spiritual wealth.
He is sometimes depicted with the consort Bhairavi, emphasizing balance between power and grace. His golden hue represents purity, prosperity, and transformation. He rides a divine vehicle (sometimes a swan or a dog) and is often adorned with ornaments signifying opulence.
Importance of Kalashtami during Theipirai
Ashtalakshmis are said to perform Poojas to Lord Kaal Bhairav on the thithi of Ashtami (Kalashtami)during Theipirai (Tamil word for Krishna Paksha, the waning phase of moon) according to Puranas. Offering Pujas to Lord Bhairav on Krishnapaksha Ashtami, Ashta Lakshmis will bless us with fortunes and good luck.
